Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu Expresses Heartfelt Gratitude to Co-Star Vijay Deverakonda in a Touching Note on Friendship

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her deep appreciation for her Kushi co-star Vijay Deverakonda in a heartfelt message about their friendship. She thanked him for consistently being there for her during both good and challenging times.

Samantha took to Instagram to share her sentiments, accompanied by a delightful photo of her and Deverakonda enjoying a delectable meal at a restaurant in Turkey. The picture, beautifully captured by Kushi director Shiva Nirvana, along with Samantha’s heartfelt note, has garnered an astounding number of over 2.2 million likes within less than 24 hours on Instagram.

Vijay, appreciating Samantha’s gesture, reposted her message on his Instagram story and referred to her as his “favorite girl.”

Presently, the duo is in Turkey, where they are shooting for an upcoming romantic drama. This project commenced after the release of Samantha’s previous film, Shaakuntalam. The movie is being filmed in various breathtaking locations, including Kashmir. Although the collaboration between Samantha and Vijay was planned for Kushi back in 2019, Samantha’s battle with the autoimmune disease Myositis and other commitments caused delays. Prior to this, Samantha and Vijay had shared the screen in the Telugu biographical drama Mahanati (2018).

The Telugu-language film, which also features Jayaram, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, Sachin Kedakar, and Murali Sharma, is scheduled for release on September 1st of this year.
