Kunlavut and An Seyoung win the India Open

After stunning victories over Viktor Axelsen (two-time world champion) and Akane Yamaguchi (two-time world champion), Kunlavut Vidsarn of Thailand and An Seyoung from Korea, the India Open crowns were won by An Seyoung and Kunlavut Vidsarn, both from Thailand.

Kunlavut defeated Axelsen, Olympic champion from Denmark, 22-20, 10-21 and 21-12 in 64 minutes. An won his maiden Super750 tournament title. Yamaguchi 15-21. 21-16. 21-12.

World No. After beating Soh Wooi Yik and Aaron Chia, the star Malaysian third seeds, Wang Chang and 11 Liang Wei Keng, they were declared the winner in men’s singles. This was their second World Tour title after the victory at the Japan Open last year.

Japan’s Yuta Watanabe, Arisa Higashino and Yuta Watanabe won the mixed doubles title. Nami Matsuyama, Chiharu Shida, were also from Japan and claimed the women’s duals title.
